A keen podcast listener, as well a communication technologies whiz, working as communication supervisor for a non-profit in Stockholm, editor Eric Persson has impressive knowledge of Swedish black metal bands. An understanding he shares with music supervisor for film Rasmus Thord, who also makes the one half of the band Sasthor. Calle Ljungström of CalleochEmma design is a freelance art director with a particular interest in book design.
Jenny Danielsson always enjoy a good conversation and believes a certain magic occurs when we talk and listen to each other. An avid radio fan she initiated a podcast about contemporary art in Swedish in 2015, in collaboration with co-host Oscar Carlson. In the talk show Danielson & Carlson the pair reviewed current art affairs and examined topics such as art criticism and the artists’ studio with invited guests, ranging from artist collectives to politicians. All episodes of Danielsson & Carlson are available via iTunes and Soundcloud. Due to lack of funds this show is currently on pause.
The Artword Podcast is Jenny Danielsson’s solo endeavour. A series of exchanges with artists, curators and other inspiring individuals around the art world. The aim is for each episode to offer shorter, in depth talks around a specific topic.
Jenny Danielsson is a Swedish freelance writer, contributor to magazines such as Artlover, Konstperspektiv and the online journal Konsten.net. In collaboration with the artist Joakim Heidvall she organises exhibitions in Stockholm. Their trademark Se! means Look! In Swedish.
